I’m Nicole, wife to Eric and mother to Erica, Sydney, and Caleb. I’m just a regular girl trying to find my way in the big, bad world of money. My mission is to achieve financial independence in 10 years or less. Along the way, I’m helping other busy, professional women become financially confident while building true wealth. True wealth isn’t just about money, it’s also about living a life rich in spirit, time, and peace. You’re in the right spot if you’re ready to embrace the beauty of financial freedom so that you can work less, and live more.
My FI Plan
A few other random facts about me.
- I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.
- I’m a makeup enthusiast.
- I’m a minimalist.
- I love 90s rap- Method Man and MosDef are my faves.
- I’ve been called cheap all of my life. My clapback is ‘you can call me cheap, but you’ll never call me broke.
- My #1 pet-peeve is when my children talk to me through the bathroom door…uh, hello can’t I just have a few minutes to pee in peace?
The blog is a way for me to document my journey to financial independence and to share the lessons I learn(in real-time) with those who are interested. Hopefully, the blog will help me be more intentional with hitting my goals and it’ll nice to be able to look back and see how far I’ve come on the journey. So, if you’re interested in hearing my two cents on various life and money topics then stick around. I like to keep my posts bite-sized and easy to digest. Ain’t nobody got time to write 2,500-word essays!
